MOU CEREMONY & SEMINAR
We are delighted to announce that R. V Northland Institute of Pharmacy has successfully conducted a Collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) ceremony and Intellectual seminar Session on the theme “Recent Trends in Pharmaceutical Education” in partnership with the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) Delhi state chapter on the 20th of January, 2024.
This MOU states that R.V. Northland Institute (Pharmacy), Dadri, Greater Noida, and IPA-DSB would work together on special short-term professional development programs, personality development programs, and pharmacy programs quarterly. Through this MOU, our students will have permanent access to IPA-DSB and RVNI programs. Integrating academic rigor with practical training is our main goal. Using the most recent technological advancements, students will work on real-world projects.

- To comprehend the possibilities for networking.
- To investigate the disparity across establishments and sectors.

Dr. Swamita Arora’s prelude to the event began with a welcome to dignitaries. A short introduction to the guest speakers included:
Mr. Kalhan Bazaz, President of the IPA, Delhi State Branch.
Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, Head of R&D, Modi-Mundipharma Ltd., Meerut.
Dr. Neeraj Kumar, Honorary Secretary of IPA-DSB and Senior General Manager of Datt Mediproducts Pvt Ltd. Dr. Nitin Sharma, EC Member of the IPA-DSB and Professor at Amity University in Uttar Pradesh.
The event was officially commenced by the Principal of R. V. Northland Institute, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjar Alam and other dignitaries lighting the lamp, highlighting the program’s purpose. The session then moved on to the prayers of Goddess Saraswati.
Dr. Sanjar Alam
Dr. Sanjar Alam, Principal of R. V. Northland Institute, expressed his joy in the students’ background in pharmacy during his short talk. He discussed RVNI’s goal and how academics serves as a cornerstone of the industry. His presentation included a variety of research options as well as the advantages of a memorandum of understanding with IPA. His statements were closed with the phrase Be educated and empowered.
Mr. Rajesh Agarwal
Our first speaker, Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, DGM – R&D, Modi-Mundipharma Ltd., educated students on the subject of “Artificial intelligence in pharma and healthcare” by presenting industry basics. A short on the quality of medication and the norms and regulations for medicine import and export in India came next.
Dr. Nitin Sharma
The second speaker of the event will be Dr. Nitin Sharma, an EC member of the IPA-DSB and a professor at Amity University in Uttar Pradesh, who will discuss the subject of “Power of Intellectual Property Rights.” He went over the laws and guidelines about publishing and authorization of patents. He also spoke about how patent applications are approved and India’s regulatory framework.

Finally, our last speaker, Dr. Neeraj Kumar, Hon. Secretary IPA-DSB and Senior General Manager, Datt Mediproducts Pvt Ltd., educated students on the subject of “Introduction to IPA” by outlining the foundation of the industry. In addition to outlining the benefits of industry partnership with the educational institution, he has proposed many IPA aspects that contribute to academic achievement.

The signing was witnessed by Dr. Sanjar Alam, Director of RVNI, Dr. Swamita Arora, Professor and Head of the Pharmacology department, and Dr. Md Rashid Khan, Associate Professor and Head of Training and Placement at RVNI.
The distinguished guests gave students an opportunity for a candid discussion during which they exchanged their opinions and expertise.
Mementos and certificates were given to the dignitaries as a mark of appreciation, and Dr. Mohammad Rashid Khan submitted a vote of thanks to them.
